News

ATTENTION: Draw the World Together will be closing down this NING group in the next few days as NING are due to start charging for hosting sites such as this. Needless to say, using up funds to host the site is not money well spent when we can get everything we need elsewhere. We will be hosting our main website at: http://drawtwt.wordpress.com/ and the drawtheworldtogether.com URL will point to that. Also, all our 'Discussions' will be happening in the DtWT Facebook group. When all this is done we will be holding an amazing new auction with stuff coming up for auction that you SERIOUSLY DON'T WANT TO MISS. All the news of that will be on the New Site.
So, Check out the New DtWT Site, when you get there click the 'Sign me up!' link on the site and get all the latest news emailed directly to you.
Also, take a trip to the Facebook group and start joining in, and sharing with your other Facebook friends. We need all the support we can get. And you wouldn't want them to miss out on the auction, now would you.
Many thanks to NING for our time here, many thanks to you for your support and we will see you on the other side,
Andrew W

A Note from our Founder:
Just a quick update to let you all know that I am no longer at the helm of this project as after 4 years it feels like the right time to do what was always my intention, hand it over to someone who can bring something fresh to the project. Throughout the last four years there have been many amazingly talented people who have helped out with the project and together we have raised tens of thousands of pounds to help street children in both Cambodia and India. Two of those who have shown dedication to the project and a keenness to be involved at a higher level are super colourist team, Kat Nicholson and Jason Cardy. Their willingness to contribute their time and talent at comic conventions has been a major contributor to the work of DtWT.
So, Kat and Jason will now be handling the daily ins and outs of DtWT as well as all that it takes to have DtWT appear at conventions. I know that you will do all you can to aid them in moving DtWT in to new areas and helping to make a difference.

Memorabilia Nov 09

Whew! What a weekend! I'd meant to get all this sorted/ posted yesterday, but we slept late (recovering from the Memorabilia show excitement and lack of sleep!) and it was ~jasoncardy's birthday yesterday too, so I got a bit distracted! But anyway, Memorabilia was an amazing weekend! We had 3 great guys sketching with us over the weekend; Joe Ward, Tom Wilson and Matt Birks - who all did Stirling work in helping out with sketches. This meant that we could pull in more custom than normal and betw… Continue

How to Donate

Donating to the Draw the World Together campaign is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: EveryChild will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. This is a global charity so don’t be put off by donating in Sterling. All contributions are gratefully received and will make the difference in changing the life of someone less fortunate than ourselves.
If you wish to covert to UK pounds from you own currency click here for a pop up currency converter.
Once you have decided on your amount click HERE and you will be taken to the secure EveryChild Donation page. Then select the amount you would like to donate, type Draw the World Together in the ‘Additional Information’ box and proceed from there.
By typing Draw the world Together in the box you will ensure that the money you give will go to help the work being done in India.
Thank you
